Our first season has got off to a great start! With our vessel Splendour fully upgraded and kitted out, our first two cruises of the season were fantastic trips. We couldn’t have asked for more; glorious sunshine, lots of wildlife and really lovely guests. Read our first review from the Redmayne family who enjoyed a three night whole boat charter:
“The Argyll coast is a revelation. Only a short time after leaving Holy Loch we were immersed in the wild beauty of Scotland’s west coast, sailing off the shores of Arran, Great Cumbrae and amongst the Kyles of Bute. The ‘Splendour’ lives up to her name. Spacious decks and plenty of varnished wood and brass are complemented by a comfortable topside saloon for meals and just hanging out. Accommodation was ideal for the family – an en suite double cabin for my wife and I, a single for my daughter and bunks for the boys. Skipper, Iain Duncan, made everyone very welcome, sharing his wheelhouse, entertaining all our (silly) questions, suggesting beautiful walks along the Cowal Way and cycling tours of Great Cumbrae, even diverting the kids with fishing rods and lobster pots. The only storms encountered were culinary ones, cooked up by chef Mike in the galley – three meals a day, all of an exceptional quality, that would put many a shore side restaurant in the shade. Overall, my only complaint..? It was all over too soon…
