Get To Know Argyll Cruising
Argyll Cruising is a family business owned and operated by Skipper Ted Creek. Originally founded by Iain Duncan in 2014, it has successfully operated eight cruising seasons out of Holy Loch and Oban on a converted mini-cruise vessel, Splendour. Having watched Splendour from the windows of the family homes in Tighnabruaich and Dunoon since her first season, Ted has loved having the opportunity to integrate into the business, finally taking over at the start of 2022. He is looking forward to continuing to develop small-boat cruising into a stronger sector in Argyll, offering unique Scottish Cruises, visiting the inlets and islands of Argyll, Arran and the Hebrides.
Ted, although brought up in Surrey, spent all of his holidays in Scotland, mainly on the west coast, before undertaking a degree in Marine Biology and Oceanography and then beginning his career as a tour guide and skipper. He is an expert on the local area, particularly the wildlife, and enjoys nothing more than introducing them to our guests.
