Coronavirus Update 19th March 2020
To all our valued Guests,
After much soul searching and with deep regret we at Argyll Cruising have decided to cancel our spring and summer 2020 programme of cruises.
The situation with Covid19 is becoming far too grave to ignore and the last thing we wish to do is endanger our guests and crew.
The British Government has strongly recommended that there should be no ‘unnecessary travel’ which fairly neatly sums up all the wonderful trips we enjoy in ‘Splendour’ Most of our regular guests and indeed the skipper himself are the most at risk from Covid19 not being in the first flush of youth.
Things are changing from day to day but our plans at the moment are to look forward to a wonderful autumn of cruises from the Holy Loch in our beloved Firth of Clyde. If however, the threat reduces sufficiently before that we will publish a new programme of cruises for the late summer.
Anyone who has booked a cruise with us in the spring and summer (April, May, June, July, August) will be given the opportunity to use any monies lodged with us as a credit against a cruise in the autumn this year or indeed at any time in the 2021 or 2022 season. Our 2022 calendar will be posted on our website very soon.
We apologise to all our loyal guests for any disappointment this causes but we hope you all agree, the main thing is to keep ourselves and our families safe in these disturbing times.
We look forward immensely to the day we meet again onboard Splendour.
Love from all at Argyll Cruising.
